Borussia Mönchengladbach may sell Giovanni Reyna to RC Strasbourg if they meet the asking price. The 23-year-old forward joined Gladbach in the summer of 2025. According to Sky Alemania, the French club has already made contact with Reyna and are willing to pay a transfer fee to Gladbach. Gladbach would sell Reyna if the transfer fee is acceptable. Reyna himself has been with Gladbach since the summer of 2025 and caught the eye of coach Gerardo Seoane in the 2025/26 season. Gladbach finished the 2025/26 season in 12th place in the Bundesliga and has scored 42 goals and conceded 53 cards in the new season. Gladbach is currently 51 points behind Bayern München in the new season. Gladbach's next match is on September 5, 2026 against SV Elversberg. Gladbach currently has two players injured, Fabio Chiarodia and Yukhym Konoplya.
