What happens in the preparation?

The performance diagnostics take place, before it goes on the pitch two days later. The World Cup participants of Borussia will not be there at first, but will join the training during the preparation.

Which test matches does Gladbach plan?

Gladbach has its first test match just a few days after the start of preparation: it's against Wuppertaler SV, who was relegated from the Regionalliga to the Oberliga. Then there are test matches against the two third-tier teams RW Essen and Hansa Rostock. As part of the season opener, there's a special treat: Europa League winner Aston Villa is a guest at Borussia-Park!
