Sporting director Rouven Schröder continues to look for a new Gladbach coach. The expected rejection by Tedesco represents a significant setback. The club is in a difficult period, sitting 17th in the Bundesliga with zero points from three matches. The recent 5-0 defeat at SC Freiburg highlighted the urgent need for a solution.

The team must now focus on the next fixture. On Saturday, Gladbach host FSV Mainz 05 at Borussia-Park. Mainz currently occupy eighth place.
